I just returned from the holy land !
« on: June 12 2006, 12:52:50 PM »
This Sunday we brought the Scirocco to a race car show at the Anhauser-Busch
plant in Merrimack,NH. I know I told a few of you guys about them having tours
of the facility, and someday I'd take the tour. I finally did ! This weekend they held
a large event called "Rock 'n' Rivfest". The food was awesome, but the waiting lines sucked.  The tour was cool, and at the end they give you two free beers. I tried
their Anhauser- Busch World Lager. That stuff is awesome ! I also tried another
new beer called "Bare Knuckle Stout" that wasn't bad, but I still think Guiness is a little beter. Yet the name still kicks ass ! :rofl;
Here are some pics...

They didn't allow any pictures inside, but I did get some more outside.
Also good news for Brian. They have a plant in San Diego. I can tell you that
I've never seen so much stainless steel in one place before.

I've been to the onw in Fort Collins, CO. a couple of times. From what I understand, almost all of them are pretty much identical so I've likely seen the same tour as you. I remember the room full of stainless steel vats where our guide said "In order to drink all the beer in this room, you'd have to consume a case a day for the next 80 years."

While we were looking at the bottling lines, the tour guide said that
one line bottles 1400 beers per minute ! Damn, all of us combined couldn't drink at that rate... :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer: "Hick up, I lost count" :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer:  :atbeer: (passes out) :prayer:
