tattoo gun 101
« on: May 08 2006, 03:04:16 AM »
I opened up my printer to see if I could fix it. Suddenly, I saw a tattoo gun motor. I tested it with direct power and found out that I dont need something to reduce the speed. Woot!!!!

I see you kept an Arrogant Bastard bottle! Mmmm, I'll hafta get some tonight. You know, you're goin' to all this trouble when a REAL cutback (that's what they're called) can be had for as cheap as $200 in some cases.....then again, you could just go pay for a tattoo at a shop. Trust me, I'm still to this day paying through the nose to have old shit from when I was a kid covered up. Not worth it unless it's done right the first time, IMO. Also, a true autoclave uses heat to kill bacteria *AND* pressure to kill bacterial spores, which heat alone can't do.....so, it's a common misnomer that boiling a needle is adequate. Just something to think about before you end up with Hepatitis A, B, D, Z, 12, Y6, or however many types there are.

Yeah, that devil on that bottle is sweet. I couldnt throw it away.

I was board and hadnt made a gun in 10 years. If you seen the crappy tatts I have you'd probably try to cut them off. Without ink I cant do anything.

I remember the days when I used to tat up my friends. Thankfully I was behind the gun and not under it. I wish I would have stuck with it.

I honestly couldn't stop laughing after I saw the zip-ties man. All you need is a spoon and some ink bro.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

In that case, you could probably hack up a pintle style fuel injector
to make the tatoo gun. You could feed the ink straight into it.
