Where to buy a Powermaster Accumulator
« on: May 28 2014, 06:59:48 PM »
Looking for input on where to get a new accumulator for my powermaster.  Going on Power Tour week after next and the brake light has decided to start flickering when I apply the brakes.  So I need one fast, and preferably cheap.  OK, stop laughing now as I do know I am driving a GN and no parts are cheap!  I was overseas for 5 years and a lot of the vendors I used to use have gone out of business.  Seems like the only guys left are the ones I have never used or the ones I did not like to use.  So any suggestions appreciated.

Are you sure your switch is good?
I'll knock the pm every chance I get. A vac or hb swap is way more cost effective than throwing parts at a marginal pm imo, but its your car/money.

I'd call Mr kirban and see if he can get you one.

May chance it and wait until later and convert it to vac brake. No issue with braking just a flash of the brake light when I hit the brake pedal.  I would guess the switch is ok as I can hear the motor run when the light comes on.

Well, used the old turkkey baster and sucked  outnthe old fluid and put clean new fluid back in.  No brake light since!   Think it was low on fluid.  So, vacuum brake conversion later this  year is on the books.  Think I will do this when I do the 12 inch brake mod. Thanks all for the input.

Well, PM has decided to act up now that I am on the Hot Rood Power Tour!   Anyone in Ohio got one sitting on the shelf?
