Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

Are there other cars that can replace the drive belt tensioner on my 87 GN?
87 GN T-Top, ScanMaster, hot-wire kit, Full Throttle chips w/ matching 60# injectors, adj. fuel pump, and triple pod gauges w/ AEM A/F gauge, oil pressure gauge, vac/boost gauge, Kenne Belle rear seat brace, upgraded tranny w/ Art Carr pan cover, and a pre-lube oil system.

I know they're no longer available and yes I already know about the high price ones, just thought maybe someone can tell me if other cars can be use as replacement?

You could make your own manually adjustable unit... I know that is my plan if I have to replace the thing again before I can sell the whole car.

Mine is still okay I wanted to have another just in case my original one breaks down.
 It seems these one of kind drive belt tensioner are very hard to come by in a good price, but easy to come by if you laid out your social security money. :013:

Good luck.  I am still running a borrowed on from a friend. I bought a used one on tb.com, it showed up with a broken off ear that had been poorly welded back on.  I finally got the guy to return my money, but I am out the shipping.

Just repaired mine
It has a 6203 5/8 ID  now not a 17mm
What else breaks on these
Arizona GN109 forged rotating assembly
DLS 210-210
Champion irons
Extreme Auto stage II trans and converter
