What's the deal?
« on: September 24 2013, 04:20:03 PM »
I finally got around to reading the blazer/s10 brake upgrade on tb.kom.  I read every page, and I've seen many requests to making that thread a sticky.  It's not a sticky from what I can see, but they have the Baer Brake(only wealthy can afford) install as a sticky.  Does anybody know why?  I know it's not relevant here but was just curious since i know a few guys bounce back and forth between boards. Hello to everyone!! :atbeer:

Really?

It's because Baer pays for the sticky.

Has anyone ever said if the S10 brakes will clear stock GN wheels?

They're not paid spots and I don't have a lot of choices on what goes in a sticky. That's why there's a sticky on brakes and suspension that's got more than 1 link in it. The stickys get over crowded in some cases, like the feedback section, so I've been trying to get permission to condense them some. The stickys are supposed to be significant posts which help everyone out when they're trying to find info but that's not always the way it works.

Its cool Charlie!!!  Was just curious.  I recall a few people going back and forth about having to grind the rotor down to fit the stock GN wheel.  I have aftermarket wheels I'm installing eventually.

I think you ment the caliper Phil. Since I don't have a stock GN wheel here I don't know if it will fit or not but it will fit the vector style and the Blazer did have 15" steel wheels and they fit.
