TA SE Aluminum Heads Question
« on: October 15 2013, 06:54:45 PM »
Grabbed these off Norbs a couple years back...and they have a couple hours run time on them and a couple of dyno pulls. These are the street version...not the race version...tho Norbs had Nick Micale massage them a little more. Season is over...and Dan and I have my engine out for a freshening...a nd I may bolt these bad boys on. Question is this. What spark plugs would work best in these heads running 25 PSI.

I would guess NGK R5671A-8 would be a suitable start?

As aluminum heads are not thermally efficient and I am guessing that you are not increasing compression to make up for it, I would guess you could crank up the timing to make up for it some as well as run more boost to try to get the heat back to make power...but it will probably not need a real cold plug

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.
