Intake Gasket
« on: February 03 2013, 01:55:18 PM »
I am going to buy an intake maniforld gasket for an engine that needs assembly.  The engine will be using Champion aluminum heads, I *believe* the gasket I want to get is the Felpro #MS96033 since the Champion heads don't have EGR ports, correct?

Or is there a newer, better gasket that I should use?

Thanks for any and all help.

I'd be placing a call to Tom at Champion...but that's just me. I've got Norbs' TA heads going on my backup engine...and they're gonna be getting a call in regards to intake and head gaskets.

Earl,

Thanks for clarifying that issue, I had it backwards.

I will try to get an MS96037.

Take care,

The weather up here has kept me busy but I finally went and got my intake manifold gasket and I grabbed the MS 96037 and it looks like the one I was after.

Price wasn't as good as in the US, but then again I didn't have to use any fuel to go get it either since I got it locally here in town.  My cost was $39.95 which wasn't too bad I guess.
