How "straight" and how well balanced are those?

Don't you think with today's CNC machining equipment they would come out quite close to spec?

Are you saying that these things are from a single billet?

I thought they were cast wheels and I have seen a lot of variance in castings....

The rims on the front are 15x7 and the backs are 15x8.   The tire shop felt that the rims and tires balanced well, I never checked the weights, but they said all was fine.

I am happy with this purchase!!!

When I saw them they did not appear to be cast.
I was also impressed by the cap that comes with them.  it will not interchange with the stock caps though.  it snaps in, and I could pick up the whole wheel with the cap and it wouldn't come off.  it also comes with lugs since the stock lugs won't work.
really really nice wheels, its just I'll have to wait and see them mounted on a gn in person to decide if I want a set.

I don't know what they used. I'm pretty sure one can buy wheel blanks that are not cast.
The technology must exist to make good castings

Reviewing:
Brian did use the word "cast" so I guess they are.

Battery Tray?

Hmmmmm........ What's this?  I don't have one on my car...never knew it needed one.

Can anyone else confirm their GN utilizes a battery tray?  My battery just sits on the flat battery area on passenger inner fender well.

thanks,

dave

why would mine be any difrent then any other gn?  there is a tray the battery sits in, you have the holder that goes around the battery that tightens to hold it.

My battery just sits in a flat recess in the inner fender well & no tray......don't have any strap going around my battery....it's just held down with a hold down strap that bolts down to the rad support at the front and goes over top of the battery & down the back side to a slotted grove in the wheel well to hold it in place .

Maybe we're both calling the same thing by different name / descriptions?

Looks right to me....newer batteries don't seem to drip acid and rust them out
