Interesting morning

Interesting morning

I'm on the ramp 427 south to 401 West, two lanes- I'm on the inside.
Wet with drizzle, "Sandy" aftermath.

'Bout half way round the bend - I'm thinking "this is almost faster than I'm comfortable with in the truck".
Keeping my track tight to the inside to have some wiggle room should things go awry.

I look in the side mirror- see a silver Honda coming up on my left.

See silver Honda lose it on the curve, see driver fighting with the wheel, see silver Honda smash into the
concrete barrier.

I'm mesmerized and can't look away, - bits of Honda  flying in slow motion like one of those exploded parts diagrams.

Honda bounces off the concrete, front wheel finally grabs and and Honda (sans Honda bits) shoots across
both lanes through the ditch and into the inner green space.

I remember I'm still driving, look up from the drama unfolding in the mirror, do a status check
and get the heck outta  there before somebody hits the flotsam, looses control and careens into me.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

Seen that happen before, just think of your insurance rates going up for every one of those honda trashed.

Glad you are ok.

He saw the scene being a few minutes behind me.
