Grouper fishing goodness..

Went out again Saturday - too rough to go out 30 miles, went out 15-20 miles or so.

Bite sucked - only caught 1 keeper, a 21-3/4" red grouper - I caught it.

I did win the bet, occasionally we put $10 or $20 on who gets the biggest keeper. We settled on $10 per - 4 on the boat. $30 in my pocket. Sucks to win it on a barely legal fish (insert joke here), 20" is the legal minimum for red grouper. not one keeper gag grouper. Loooong day.

We did catch a wide variety - a small shark, a nice Bonita too.

I got all of the fish (2 filets), I gave 1/2 to my friend Mike that went, and the wife deep fried the rest last night.. fresh, never frozen grouper - yummy.

Looks like you had a blast. I love fishing in the bays and ocean. Don't really care for stream and creek stuff (which usually don't come with a cool boat ride). Way to go Mark
