vac brake ?

ok  ?   new to vac brakes
when i push on the brake pedal with motor running i hear a hisss   if i hold the pedal i hear it. 
the brakes take alot of effort almot two feet to stop this thing
is the booster shot\?

You have something wrong. You only have the feed hose, the block and the booster. If you're hearing the hiss inside the car, you should really hear it under the hood. Lightly spray carb cleaner where you think it is with engine running, engine idle should change.

its only if i hit the brake pedal
seems ok idling
really hear it in the car tho

It's gotta be the booster than. Does the idle change when you're on the brakes? Maybe the ECM is taking up the change. Look if your oxygen sensor readings go wacko when you hit the brakes.
