The buildings electrician who I have known for about 15 years had a Really BAD Accident yesterday. The building has a 480 main feed & the heat/AC units in each apt run 220 off them. Every 2nd floor is a box that splits the power & those have a special key to open. Ali went in just like a million times before & somehow the box Exploded. It sounded like a gunshot 3 floors up in my bedroom. It blew out all power to the building until midnite. He was instantly Set of Fire from the belly to the top of his head. He was laying Motionless on Fire! A tenant threw a bucket of water on him which may have saved his life but Sunnybrook still can't stabilize him to operate. He is a Really Nice Guy!! At this point they haven't made any promises to the family. I know you people don't know him but if you could send any good thoughts his way or a little prayer for him it can only help.
I hope he pulls thru for his family but he looked like a piece of Charcoal. The few that saw him are all in a Bad Way from the scene playing over in their heads. I feel Rally Bad for him!! Thanks!
