2010 Camaro Questions
« on: March 09 2014, 12:06:01 PM »
The girlfriend went out and got herself a black 2010 Camaro SS with the 6.2 engine and six speed standard transmission. Only has 20,000 miles on it...and is mint...with the red/black leather interior and is loaded. Couple questions. How much abuse can the six speed and diff take? Any suggestions as to what brand of CAI and cat back exhaust to bolt up to it?

LS1tech.com or Camaro5.com, my friend.

Your biggest gains will likely be from a tune; the usual order of events is intake, exhaust and tune.

As for the tranny... the TR6060 is a very stout piece of kit, it is also known as the Magnum T56. You'll probably wreck the stock clutch long before you reach the limits of the transmission.

Hey Brad,

If you're looking for a killer exhaust system (cat  back), give Jack Quinn a call at Zoro Muffler (Stanfield Rd. Mississauga).  He does a mean custom stainless mandrel bent system for these cars.  Will knock off a bunch of weight vs the stock set up & free up some HP.
