A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

there was a nice 58 corvette and a 66 Malibu convertable on the rig too so the Buick was in good company

Sean love the car, just lose the skirts. And when you get board I am pretty good at building twin turbo V8s from scratch. A blow through carb and some stock GN turbos would make cruising that much quicker.

Yeah - I guess if I *had* to find anything I didn't like, it would be the skirts. (On Sean's car at least.  :tongue)

I get lots of props for the skirts....only problem is if I dump the getting the wheel well trim is harder than finding good wheel well trim for a Buick G-body

I'll look at my 68 and see if the trim looks alike Sean. If they do I'll take a pic and some measurements of them so you can check. :D

love it
Most talk about having thick skin but thats just BS.
This damn attitude of "you didn't listen to us/me now you should burn in hell for it" really sucks.

Well leave the skirts on if you want original and a unique look. Just saying that these cars look fine w/o the wheel well trim.
I notice though that the skirts on yours appear to cover part of the quarter panel. If you check my cars pic you'll see a detail around the rear wheel well.
All in all, the Cali cars were different than what the rest of the country got. Your grill is a Spl Dlx grill, The front fenders are Skylark, the interior is Spl Dlx, the side trim is Skylark. The options mine had were just the AM radio, PS & AC. It was gold ext & parchment int. Replacing the headliner was a 4 hour job & my neck was sore for a week. S&S Fabrics in Seattle had the headliner material and some of the original seat cover vinyl.
