Won't start...
« on: December 28 2011, 09:13:32 AM »
New motor is in...he went to crank it and nothing.

Won't turn over.
Brake light is the only light that is illuminated on the dash.
Headlights won't turn on, but the parking lights will.

Logical place to start would be to check that all the fusible links are connected and that they are carrying power on the side of the links opposite to the battery

Check the wire bundle behind the driver's side head and make sure it wasn't pinched/damaged when the motor was installed.

Low voltage on the power coupled with a bad starter (tbs.com special).

I can point you toward some decent gear reduction types Gordy.

It sux Gordy.

Its the kind  of that keeps me awake at night.
You start a small business, find what looks like an OK product, ship crates of it over from China- this takes months. after you have the product  selling for 6 months complaints start.
As a small business guy its probably hand to mouth, you didn't leave enough margin to have a high return rate, no sympathy from the MFR 'cuz you a just a tiny player and the azn business attitude in general- just the way they work. You are stuck with the inventory, do you eat the cost +go bankrupt, keep selling knowing many many unhappy
customers? become evil?
