Knock that metal ring out to remove the seal. Dremel down the three tits that staked the ring in and install the neoprene seal. Don't forget to put some jizz on the rubber to keep it from burning up. Nice to hear from Earl, guess we just have to piss him off...Pretty sure we can find those Standard Auto Parts cam sensors on ebay for much less.

remember that you can often shim the shaft to take out excessive play and keep using the original. At least the caps are more reasonable. I bought a couple of spares back when Zap found them online for around $50 (complete sensor)
