If I was going to get rid of someone, such as the position that you are in right now, I would take it slow and easy, not make any rash decisions, not make a decision during or directly after a fight/arguement, and I would offer some assistance to the person that you are getting rid of. Not necessarily finincial assistance either. Make friends out there with some single idiot such as myself and nature might take it's course. that generally works well. And no, thanks for the offer forthcoming, even if she would put up with me, it would interfere with my relationship with my car. HTH
