Got a lot of shit done today - Feels good!
1. Cleaned dryer vent and stack - re-routed exhaust hose behind dryer so it doesn't get pinched.
2. Checked refrigerator - seemed it wasn't getting as cold as it should. Found the cold air duct basically closed off due to an errant box of baking soda. Used the thermocouple on my meter to test - 37 in the fridge, 0.00 in the freezer. I was sweating I would have to buy a new refrigerator.
3. Sanded down some wall patches in the TV room where I had cut holes to route the Ethernet cables I ran a long time ago. Sprayed some texture on it. Tomorrow I knock down the texture, prime and paint.
4. Finally put the HUGE CRT TV my parents gave me on a TV stand and got it hooked up. I had to have a neighbor come over to help. It's a 37" CRT. MASSIVE Sony Trinitron. It's in our spare bedroom, basically my stepson-to-be's playroom. He will be thrilled. Still have to take the old 32" Toshiba CRT to the dump.
5. Mounted my Cisco 1231AP in the attic. PoE FTW! Had to cut a 100' Ethernet cable and put some ends on. I hate that shit.
6. Put up a ceiling fan on my patio. No small feat - I have an aluminum enclosure patio - used a 2x2 extruded aluminum beam, and some wiremold track to hide the wire. Hard-wired it into an outdoor outlet I have on the patio.
7. Took shower, ordered Pizza Hut pizza and wings, topped it off with a romp in the sack.
All in all - a pretty kick ass day.
