Please don't feed the Texans
« on: April 01 2011, 09:55:27 PM »
Been stuck in TX for a couple of days now. Yikes.

First off, I don't understand how anything gets done in El Paso with NOBODY speaking fucking English down there.

Also, even here in the little jerk-burg of Clarendon all the motels are owned by rude ass....well, y'know.

When passing through Big Spring I wished that I could head a little ways south and knock over Wood's garbage cans...and dodge rocksalt until I got over the fence where I could spin around and throw two middle fingers in the air shouting, "I finally got you dickhead!".

Could every business in America please quit encouraging Texans to think of themselves as somehow more interesting than everyone else? Shit, if it isn't a billboard sign for a new truck claiming to be 'Texas Tough' it's state-shaped neon announcing to the world that (name of eatery) serves Texas-sized steaks. The Dairy Queen across the street would have you know that DQ is Texas' place to Meet And Eat, or some such nonsense. I even, somewhere near Taylor, heard "Screw You, We're From Texas" on the XM.

One has to have accomplished something in order to be eligible to wash up.

same bullet as the .270 but works like a charm in the 6.8x 43 that is the AR loading...push es right around 3000 fps out of a 16" AR barrel and expands down to around 1800 fps.  It is a hog busting son of a gun..but, it works well on white tail as well.

Given the mag well length on an AR, max length is about 2.300" on a good mag...bit less on others...

Kinda .270 short :)  round was based on a .30 rem necked down

What really chaps me is that the ATF has just stopped improving imports of Saiga 12's while they study them to determine if there is any sporting use for them.  I was fixing to buy one and improve it a bit...

ATF is anti gun...trying to find a way to prevent us from having the weapons we might need to defend ourselves....

Leadership of ATF, I should say.  The big O says one thing but his appointments say something else
