Anyone else been picking up on a theme in thier commercials lately?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpCqa0Rx0Ykhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eN9KP6lOZs&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf_f1FWaJug&feature=relatedGet on youtube and you can find 1,000 for yourself but I've noticed (as have many others) that nearly every McDonald's ad now is solely black. Am I being a 'racist'? Not at all, but I would suggest that their marketing campaign has become just that. For instance, have you noticed that when they *do* place a European in one of their commercials it is always that person's role to play the idiot? For instance, remember the Coke glass commercial from awhile back wherein a white guy gave "fist-bump fireworks" only to be met by the rolling eyes of two African Americans? Remember the recent commercial featuring two black gentlemen eating at McDonald's after apparently losing a promotion or something to somebody named Sully...at the end a white guy approaches them and asks, "Hey guys, did you hear about Sully?" only to be mocked by the two in a snotty voice. Or how about the white family that sits down to have some sort of spicy sandwich only to have a nearby woman cut in with "Oh honey, you ain't gonna need that." when somebody reaches for the salt? I don't really give a shit *whom* is featured in a commercial...t hat burger looks the same in *anyone's* hand, but I've had enough of watching white people being depicted as fools in all of their ads. From now on I'm going elsewhere. (Besides, McDonald's food is pretty gay compared to 90% of the competition anyway.)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpR8VnnZIgo&feature=related
