Does anyone here use Craigslist to search for stuff?

I'm trying to find another car for my wife and the search function on Craigslist is either really bad or I'm not doing it right.

Is there a way to search within a mileage distance like on autotrader.com as opposed to having to select a state, then select a town?

I doubt it. There's Craigslist 3rd party sarch engines though - you may have better luck with that.

Sylvan actually told me it was "chicks with dicks" but I couldn't understand him - it was like he had something in his mouth.

I sold a car through CL and I have purchased many things off of there.  The search function is VERY basic.  Can't do anything except 'key' term searches with it, like said above..you have to use a third party one.

As far as buying...make sure you met either public place or take someone with you if going to their home.  I only go to someones house if it is in a decent neighborhood.. never go alone...and I never go unarmed!  I did NOT drive my car when people asked..they had to come to me. And only during the day.
