I will admit to buying some Kenne Bell parts when I first got my GN though.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

I did the same as well. I probably still have a couple on my car. Mostly the little doodad stuff.

KB had some good stuff. You just had to know what was real and not fantasy. Back then he fooled us all. His chrome MAF inlet pipe was the best ever made. It must have 50 layers of chrome plating on it. Still shines like a 57 Olds
front bumper. Now his water cooled up pipe came after licking too many LSD tabs.
