this an idea another website im on had to raise money for the site. fun and extreamly entertaining.
"As everyone knows MR has been around for a while now, and as the time goes by the prices go up, bandwidth use, etc etc. And as most of you know Jeremy is the person who incurs 100% of the costs for running the site.
The Admins and moderators have gotten together and decided to start an annual event, where for the right amount you can get rid of anyone for up to a month total.....here's how it will work...it will start immediatley, and the last day to submit a ban will be January 2nd.
To ban ANY member...
$1 to ban someone for 24 hours, no anonymity available
$2 to ban someone for 3 days.
$5 to ban someone for a week.
$25 to ban someone for a solid month, free anonymity.
add $3 for anonymity for 2 or 7 day bans only.
Two easy ways to get rid of the ban...stick it out or pay to be unbanned....to unban yourself before your time is up is the same price as banning someone, regardless of how much time is left on the ban, the added kick is if you pay to unban yourself you will be given the name of the person who paid to have you banned, if you don't pay you don't get a name.
*unless the person paid extra to be anonymous
there's only one rule....noone will be banned for more than 30 days, whether total, or at one time.....this post will be updated with bans/time durations, so if you try to get on one day and it wont let you theres a good reason why....check here and see whats up.
