I've been working on it. I bought a Tascam 2488 about 2 months
ago. Just bought a set of drum mics this weekend. Getting ready to record.
Also picked up a bass player and a singer. We were doing the vocals up till this point.
And the keyboard player was playing bass on a second keyboard.
So its in the works.....

He's already casing your equipment, watch out.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

The first week of June will be spent in Thomaston, ME. I don't want to go, but it's my buddy's wedding. I'll be flying out, so no GN. I'll see what they have for me to rent at Logan--whatever it is, I'm sure I'll consider it underpowered. :yawinkle:

I'd check to see if you can get a flight to Pease in Portsmouth,NH instead of
Logan. Alot less BS to deal with, and they're alot closer to Maine too. I think
it'd be appropiate to rent a P.T. Cruiser too !  :rofl;

I finally got the song I wanted to post converted to an mp3.
Although, its too big to e-mail. I tried last night and my mail server timed out.
Its a little over 8mb ! Supersix, could you send me a link for an FTP ?
I also did a couple of rough recordings with the band to see what kind of sound we
could get with the new equipment. There are alot of mistakes in them, but you can really hear how well the 2488 works. I'll probably post those also.
The singer and bass player never returned so you'll have to endure
the vocals and keyboard bass for now.  :finga:
