Anyone can race KMA. If I was still in Vegas I bet I'd be racing....just to say I did it.

I know, I just don't have a vehicle that could withstand 92 miles of flatout fun.  I think the TTA would blow up....never had it past 100!!!  Plus its going to the shop for brakes,struts, shocks and oh yeah a tranny rebuild(know a good local rebuilder so if it screws up I can bring it back to him to fix).  So you can guess I'll be BROKE for awhile. :rofl;  I wonder if I could run my company van.....probab ly wouldn't break 100 either. :redfaced;

I'll vouch for this. I nailed 100 in my dad's '04 Mach One in third. I was too afraid to power shift it into 4th (I was on a local avenue). I later chirped them on the freeway slamming down to pass. I wish the GN was a stick. :(
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

Just to be clear on the Silver State race in May...

The Buickheads are assaulting Ely Nevada in May for the Silverstate Classic. Sylvan and I both have ties to Ely Nevada and we decided that it would be cool to go there together. Of course it would be NO fun without all the Buickheads there, so we made it a 'thing'. Aaaaand since we were going we thought we might as well race and if we are going to race we may as well win the damn thing.

I no longer have a Vette or the BMW, so I have to scramble to get a car and get it ready by May. The NASCAR is out since it has just the one seat.

More info can be had here: www.sscc.us

Stay tuned...

I noticed that they have ham operators helping. I'll have
to bring some equipment to listen in. I thought that was an SCCA event ?
