Track opening 27 Jan

Opening Day at Silver Dollar Raceway is this Saturday, January 27. Gates will open for Tune and Test at noon with runs from 1-5 PM. Gate admission is $10; $20 for car & driver.

Work is sending me to work at Robbins AFB, GA Friday night and paying for a room for the night....GUESS where I'll be at NOON

That sounds awsome. Have a great time. Hope you have great weather there. How is that track there? We are thinking of going there this summer, since it is about 6-8 hours away.

Found out that the tracks out here open the First week of February!   Hopefully, we can take a quick ride out to the track b4 Bowling Green to tune Bryan's car.  Oh yeah, and to see what my Mustang can do (Just once).  The nearest track is less then 10 miles from us.  That is cool.

Living near a track is cool. NED is like 15 or 20 miles away. I've
never actually checked the milage.

I like the track, You can get 9-10 passes in on a T&T night without a problem. The Atlanta track you are lucky to get in 3.

Crap...I have to drive 1 hour 45 minutes for any of the 1/4 tracks here..there is a 1/8 track about 40 minutes from me, but it SUCKS.

That is about how much it was from where we lived to get to any track.

Sounds like fun Jim.  Too bad my car is still in pieces in the garage.  I guess it is time to get off my ass and put it back together!!
