No, there will be no need for a second job.  We do pretty good, even better with all the bonuses we incur for volunteering to live in the ROK for three years (maybe four, the wife is trying hard to push that on me).  We have no car payments (I sold my Audi before I moved here).  And we have no credit card payments or house payments.  Our rent is paid for by the Army.  We have a paid for Rodeo in storage back in the states and the wife wants a newer Impala SS (I can't talk her out of it, I'm pushing for a GTP or the b-body Impala SS; it has to be a 4 door).  I've alreay bought some of the stuff on the list for phase one.  I just have to force myself to quit buying NOS NIB spare parts.  You don't want to know how many sets of tail lights I own now (I'm a compulsive buyer...or just plain stupid).  The trailer is already paid for, as well as a large chunk of money set aside for the truck.

The wife has been gracious as all get out with this hobby...I just haven't explained that I plan on buying a T-Type for a daily driver when I get back.  That oughta go over like a fart in church.

I, of course, in no way intended to give the impression that I thought you couldn't afford it.....it's just mind numbing how much you have planned! I understand your parts buying disease, I'm the same way. Then again, if I had planned what you have planned, *I* would need a second job! lol

It sounds like a great plan. But why a TA-49 ? With all
that you've listed you could have a Very reliable car
with even a TE-62. With everything you've listed, your
engine should easily handle low 10 sec passes, but not
with a 49 and 009's :rolleyes;

He asked me if I wanted a 10 second car...and I said not yet.  I haven't been able to get used to what I have now as I've probably put on less than 600 miles after what was put on the car now.  I figure I can easily up the turbo and injectors more afterwards if I need more oomph.

Tell me about these....have you researched them?
PTE Remote Oil System
ESP Pre-Lube System

Bill said to buy them, so I am.  I have heard the ESP pre-lube makes a loud unpleasing sound when activated though.

Nitto 225/50/15 NT 450. I have these tires and I DO NOT like them. They look nice but theres something about them...I dont know. I wont be buying another set though. Kinda sux 'cuz I like my nitto drag radials.

I really, really had hope the MTs would be better because I have heard the same thing about the NT 450s.  But just about everyone who has gotten the MT drag radials have said they're going back to the Nittos.  And I'm one of those people that like to have the same brand of tire all around (it's a fetish or something).  I really want raised white lettering too, but apparently I can't get that with a drag radial of any kind for some stupid reason.

I moved some stuff around,

PTE Remote Oil System
ESP Pre-Lube System
Motor Mounts from HR Parts

These were supposed to be under the motor phase...no reason to put them on if the motor is going to get pulled anyways.
