underhood light?

tryin to. figure out where the underwood light gets its power from?   all I have is a long orange wire  that's been pulled out from somewhere.  is it fed for the fuse block wiring?  any help appreciated

Should be a connector on the firewall close to the booster that it plugs into as I recall

Cig-Clk    Antenna relay, AC control head, radio capacitor, security indicator, chime module, instrument cluster (digital), radio, cigar lighter, glove box lite, engine compartment lite, footwell courtesy lites, power door locks, dome lights, trunk lites, vanity mirror lites, BAT terminal.  These circuits used an orange wire for power supply.

 Always hot. Looks to be black/orange under the hood.
