Jim was on here asking about turbos...so here's the low down.

6262-This is a bottom 10 turbo with correct mods and tuning. I ran 11.5 at 121 in street class on 20 PSI with alky on an easy tune and launch. Moving up to sportsman class I ran 7 flat at 100...and got kicked off and told to slow it down running into the 6's without even trying on a race day. Vids on my channel running 7 flat at 100 on an easy launch and a fat tune on 23 PSI. Bison has cracked the 9's on a 6265 that puts out another 30 HP all in. The 6265 is now the 6266.

6466. I never found any data on this turbo. In theory it's 9 second capable. It's only available in a BB version...whic h adds another 625 bucks to the total. Most people bypassed this turbo and went straight to the 6766.

6766. This a 9 second turbo...but requires the short block to be beefed up. I THINK Russ runs this turbo...and the car is way into the 5's in the 1/8th.

A bit of advice. Go with the JB turbo...you'll save 625 bucks...and that comes fairly close to having Dusty build a PTC race convertor for you.

If your adamant about a LU convertor...th en the only one that will get it done...is the the 9/11 locked. It can handle 700 RWHP.

You'd need a stout short block to handle it.

Correct - it's journal. He does have some ball bearing turbos in other sizes
