Free Trade has just helped to destroy the middle class! This province is a prime example. A lot of industry has left. Before NAFTA every province had to have it's own brewery, after it wasn't needed. We saw 3 big breweries leave with Labatt's being the biggest. We lost petro industries and much more. And nothing replaced the wages that these companies were paying!
I look at the buying power my Dad had and mine is no where near!
