Probably easier than a set of doubles as It has one less joint, but I'm good on the backing. Plan well and keep it moving forward.

On a side note, they are probably exceeding the weight rating of the trailer and the hitch on the uhaul box truck.

B doubles only have 2 pivot points. It's been a while but I used to back doubles into the steel mills with a B model Mack with armstrong steering.

They must have a LOT of crap.

Note: I'm assUming the camper is full...    otherwise all the crap in the box truck could be in the camper and the truck could be the tow vehicle.  That way no rental on the truck or the car hauler.

Set of doubles has the fifth wheel on the tractor, fifth wheel on the converter dolley and the pintle hook on the back of the first trailer in the set. Not impossible to back, I've found it easiest to back them in an arc. Where with a 48' or 53' you can jack knife em into some tight places.

I can [used to] put a set of a doubles places a 48 couldn't go because A trains bend in the middle. In On we can haul 140.000 lbs and didn't have time to be splitting  and hooking all the time to load steel etc so you learned to back up.
There is a pin lock on the dolly tho.

Do you chain up the dolly when hooking doubles or do you do it the hard way[ manually] also works when with empty  rear trailer.

Hook the dolley to the front trailer and back it under the rear trailer. Less work that way.
