Step Down Clamp-Where To Source?
« on: July 07 2016, 09:27:49 AM »
Stopped by my local speed shop yesterday. I need a step down muffler clamp for the DP to test pipe. OD of the test pipe is 3.25 and the OD of the DP is 3.00. I need a clamp with an ID of 3.00 going up to an ID of 3.25. My speed shop can't find one that size. Any help sourcing one would be appreciated.

Jeremy...what I need is something that transitions from an ID of 3 to 3.25. The link says 3.00...but doesn't say what it transitions too.

Brad did you try a muffler shop?  I'm sure there is a band clamp that would work

Brad,

Might want to give Jack a call at Zoro Muffler. They do all sorts of custom exhaust work in SS and mandrel bending too.

Walker Mega Clamp 33272 is what you need.  I use these on all flared connections.
