Guess I was lucky!  Guess if I did not win the Powerball, I will take this :D Perhaps the fact that I am running the Pro version had something to do with it?

I did have some problems reading some files that a guy sent me that I had been reading with no problem.  Then I upgraded my PL software to the latest edition and that solved the problem so I guess the latest output did not work with the old software and he had upgraded his PL's.  I went out and reflashed my PL's (which were from the orginal batch built some years ago so I am all up to date.

Should have a little time this evening to take a log of the INT and BL spikes.

Last time I had something like this happen was with the MAP sensor getting power from the TPS.  The fix for that was tapping power from the ECM.  I hope this is that easy.

By the way, I ordered a new female connector for the O2 sensor that connects on the harness side of the circuit.  Should pick that up this evening as well.  I may solder that in first to see if it resolves the spikes....

here's a log after installing a new pigtail and a new o2 sensor. Idling with everything warmed up. Watch the injector pw and duty cycle jump around now.  before it was the int and blm dropping to zero momentarily...  At a loss,,,

I would disconnect power from the alky system, check the ecm grounds, and clean the PL connector on the ecm for starters

Cleaned the PL connections on the ECM when it was off at Eric's.  I'll disconnect the alky and check the grounds this evening and get back with the results.  Thanks Steve!

If you are using a translator, check the connections on it as well

Checked the translator... same
disconnected alky.... same
checked the ground to the ecm.... same
Had the ecm just sitting in the floor board and MAGIC!!!!  No more numbers bouncing around.

Pulled the ecm and looked at the pl.  It seemed a bit loose while connected to the ecm.  Disassembled the ECM and installed a piece of 3m double sided tape on one of the chips of the PL.  Reassembled the ECM and reinstalled back in the car.  Wha Lah!

I can't help but think that there is some tension placed on the PL when it's installed on the ECM and in the car up against the floor board.  My pl is 8 years old so it's been in a car for who knows how long.  Plus, you trim the plastic for the installation and that may cause some undo strain on the PL as well if it's not trimmed well.  Anyway, its back and working like it's supposed to.  For that I am both relieved and happy.  Thanks for the help Steve.  I now feel much better about swapping the engine and tranny here in the next month.  Here's a log to show that all is in order.

Funny how easy the solutions are when you have identified the  cause of the problem . Good find.
