It's pretty juvenile for someone to go around doing that sort of shit. If there was money to be made at it, I could understand- but jeez.

The sad thing is that it's relatively easy to stop script kiddies like him, simply keep your bulletin board software up to date.

Looks like they are FINALLY upgrading to the latest version.

Not saying they deserved the attack, but they were asking for it running that old software.

In all honesty, it was probably a good thing that the board was hacked.  The person that hacked it did not mess up the database, or atleast I do not think that they did.

The version that they were running, which was REALLY old, was just begging to get hacked.  I have a feeling that security patches were not ever done to it either.  Plus, this gives them a good reason to finally upgrade.

Better this guy than someone that would really mess things up.
