four valves were hit, #1,3,4 rods were hit , still no proof of anything causing the chain to break
85 GN -- Converted to 87 set-up using 66/72 turbo, front mount I/C, 80lb injectors,gn1 heads 14 bolt 1.65 roller rockers stud mount, ported intake with plate, fuel hot wire, 3" dp, running 24psi., alky kit, stroker 20 over, 212/206 roller,  best time 10.995 @ 121 1.56 60ft

rods are ordered but looks like its going to be a slow process to put this thing back together. money is tight  :(

Weber Called today and asked me to send the good connecting rods to them so they can get the balance as close as possible. So they will be in the mail tomorrow, I am guessing it will be 2-3 weeks before getting them back

received all the parts and put the engine back together, today finally put the motor back in  :rock: . Still to this day have not figured out what cause the chain to break. Thanks for all the help.  :cheers:

forgot to mention that I did have an issue getting the rollmaster gear bolts on the cam shaft to start, I seen other ppl having this problem, I will contact TA perf. to let them know about my issue.

did you hone the holes out, or what?

Sure glad to see it back together.  After all that, I think the chain failed.  You were running the engine easy for what it was....

Read about the cam bolts not lining up...weird.
