Are there other cars that can replace the drive belt tensioner on my 87 GN?

You could make your own manually adjustable unit... I know that is my plan if I have to replace the thing again before I can sell the whole car.

Mine is still okay I wanted to have another just in case my original one breaks down.
It seems these one of kind drive belt tensioner are very hard to come by in a good price, but easy to come by if you laid out your social security money.

Good luck. I am still running a borrowed on from a friend. I bought a used one on tb.com, it showed up with a broken off ear that had been poorly welded back on. I finally got the guy to return my money, but I am out the shipping.
