Alrighty. I swapped out to a aluminum intake on my 1980 Z28 last year. Shortly thereafter the red idiot oil light came on. Oil pressure is fine. Sending unit?

try a jumper wire from the the case (shoulder) of the sending unit to the ground post on the battery...does it then work?
