A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

So much for the "brotherhood" of turbobuick owners...
Sheesh. How do these guys sleep at night?

its sad really
especially when the guy brags about all the $$$$ he has and does this just for the love of the cars and as a hobby because he doesn't need the money.

Dave if you only knew some of the stuff that has been done over the years you would shutter.

People called liars, people that are liars protected, no apologizes from the ones saying so and causing grief for the innocent. Then there are the outright crooks that have been chastised etc and continue on like nothing.

Now having said all this there are a lot of truly fantastic and great people in the Buick community that will help you as much as they can or know. I will say I have met some of the nicest people that I ever met within the Buick community !  These people are from all sorts of walks from Layman to Scholars. I have been wowed only a few times in my adult life, I will say it has been during the time I have spent at numerous Buick Events. People are what they are I learned that a long time ago, we can not fix them as hard as we try. Hence enjoy the part of the hobby/profession you like and make it better.

There's no "brotherhood", look at the scavengers that buy them just t terar them up and sell them.

I don't give a shit, personally - they are just cars.

Jay C has told me some stories, about even well regarded members, that would make your hair curl.

I want to disagree with you on the no "brotherhood" there is just not as great as it used to be. Look at the motley crew here . . .

Look at it this way, everyone that gets ripped apart or trashed is one less left out there. Will make even the bad ones worth something.

I know a of a number of scenario's that I seen first hand. A few of them friends . . . One has kept me off turbobuick.com by choice (reading or posting).

Enough of this from me. AJ___

For the most part The ones that i have had disagreements with always seem to be the ones in this for the money parts sellers.
Two guys local to me and one guy from NJ. Only lost money once.

The rest of the people that i have met have been great for the most part.
