what kinda front mount? gn1 performance extremeIt only picked up 20 mph in the last half...I would have expected closer to 24.Tell me about this turbo again. Where did it come from? stock upgraded 85 turbo. limit engineeringHow about the valve springs? Did you replace them? Or know what kinda pressure they are putting out? I didn't replace the springs, from the paper work i have from the previous owner the spring suggested for the cam were 100# closed and 234# open. assuming that he put what was suggested 12 years ago, that is what is in thereDid you notice your O2s on the top end? 753 at the trap

damn sure understand that! Has the "drivability" improved outside fo the turbo surge?
Could be major issues like trans slippage/flaring, valve springs, turbo, or just tuning. What was timing set at? Your 1.8 60ft time is not bad to start with. Helped many with a lot worse and still hit the 11's. Did you check and see if your getting full throttle opening with the gas pedal? What is a upgraded 85 turbo? little more info on that.
Strange, that turbo is listed the same flow as a 44 or 49 so it should not be laying down on you if all is good.Someday when you are bored, pull a valve spring, or two, and see what they are doing
