This is a chart that Patrick posted just before he left Precision. It takes the guesswork out of matching up a turbo for a convertor. I've used this chart for my own car and several customers cars...and it's been bang on.

and like a lot of things...2.5 years out of date    Always something new...too bad we don't have some way to tell if there is an actual performance upgrade so guys don't spend money on things that don't do any better than what they had.

Most...includi ng myself...don't have the nuts to really max a turbo out. There's some great info on the other board with Bison and Otto dyno tuning different turbos...and they give honest HP numbers at a given boost level...no BS. The cool thing about the new billet...and DBB turbos...is that you can run a tighter convertor for nicer driveability.

The only time I notice a higher stall (3400-3800) is when I go in reverse. Otherwise I don't feel a huge difference while leaving a light or cruisng along from a 2600-2800 stall car. Since many of us have harder shifting transmissions I think that they are more noticeable when shifting than the actual stall speed??
