Who is stupid enough to carry any kind of bottle like that without a cap on it. The one thing I did notice is that the guy was from Canada though. LOL

Seriously AJ? It's like a 10K fine if you get caught here while transporting one without a cap on it. :O

I wish I was , the ones that do not have a cap have a recessed connection. I'll snap a pic tomorrow.

The caps are vented but you can't turn it on unless the caps off it. My guess is that it rolled and the nozzle was hit somehow and that's how the gas got out. With the cap on it can't be hit or damaged except in an accident.

The US did tests in the the miitary many years ago by strapping a tank on the back of a 2 &1/4 truck and broke the noxzzle off. The truck accellerated 0 to 60 in about 3 seconds from what my old welding instructor told us.:)

Anyone able to find the original source to the story?

Why didn't it go off when he opened the garage door (presuming it was an electric garage door opener)?

Why didn't it go off when he started the SUV and backed it out of the garage (assuming he didn't just put it in neutral and push it out)?

I did not have a chance to snap a pic of the various bottles hopefully will get a chance tomorrow. Been on the road running around. Back into Hogtown tomorrow. :(

Did not look for the original story, if someone finds it post it up. Would make for interesting reading. See what this person did or what happened. . .

"im definitely sure the power window button lit the bitch up. i use acetylene everyday as im a journyman plumber. time for a wakeup call on how to handle the product..."

Scary thing is he uses the gas all the time so he is lazy about it. He would have known better than to do what he did if he was a real journeyman.

Thankfully for his family he is ok . . .
