A little rain
« on: August 13 2011, 02:47:00 PM »
got about 1.25" today...if I had been five miles north, I suspect I would have gotten twice as much, but, hopefully, this will do some good..afraid we needed more like 2-3 inches to have been noticeable but, I am not sending this back!  Angelo to the west got a good long rain and they were desperate for water...hope some got into their lakes.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I wish I could send you some of my rain.  Only got half the yard cut before the downpour came.  For a few weeks here, it has rained every day in the afternoon and the ground stays too wet to mow the grass.

6 inches of rain as of midnight. They are calling for another 5 inches by tomorrow. This is the worse I've seen here in years.

I'm in the same boat as Steve. We got .2" yesterday but it didn't go above 90 all day. Almost no wind either so it was really nasty late in the afternoon. Today started out clear and clouds are covering now so it's gonna be a hot night.

What's your electric bill like? With the heat and humidity here - mine's cresting $255.00.

Last month I paid $76 for mine but I only run the AC at night. I can't sleep in heat but I can work in it. :atbeer:

$289 last month for the electric bill.  The month prior to that was $330.
