Next month they have a speed dating event nearby for singles that are 21-32 years old. I'm thinking of checking it out, because my only experience with it is the scene from The 40 Year Old Virgin. I'm curious to see how it works, and my chauvanistic and superficial side wants to see the quality of chicks at these things.
I'm in one of those "Depends on the day of the week" relationships. A good buddy of mine has been single for awhile now, he works all hours because of his job, and since his last relationship went south he hasn't been playing the field like a 28 y/o guy should be. I'd like to get him out to a regulated event where he can meet some new girls and maybe hit it off with one of them. I figure a true friend would be there with you through something like this.
