After doing my hydroboost conversion I now have a powermaster I don't need. What do they run for used? Remans run like $600.
87 Turbo T - 4.1 484 block bored .030 over, Champion ported irons with ported intake, RJC power plate, Elgin 214/224 cam, 6776 turbo with RJC boost controller, stretched SLIC, 3\" THDP, Pypes dual exhaust, 4\" MAF pipe with 14\" K&N and Z06 MAF, 60# Mototrons, hot wired Walbro 340 with KB-BAP, Translator Gen 2 and Extender Extreme chip, Mike Kurtz built 200-4r, PPC 3200 stall, UMI upper and lower control arms, passenger side airbag, any hydroboosted.

20# Boost at 20* timing on 93 octane. No track times yet.

Well for a good working one $150 to $200 also depends if there is a newer acumulator ball to it.

I've bought used powermasters for $75, 125 an 175 before... hate them so much. How much do you want for yours?

I'm a glutton for punishment... LOL! :rolleyes:

I was thinking $125 shipped or something. It worked fine for me you can just tell it's old and used.

I converted to vacuum and love it.

Why did you replace the Powermaster?

I think the accumulator ball (if it's still fully charged and in good shape) may be worth more than the rest of the unit.

Well I wanted brakes I knew wouldn't go out when I potentially needed them. I also don't have a transbrake and always foot brake to launch so I wanted to hold more boost. I heard hydroboost were the best for that. I was going to get vacuum until I learned about the hydros.

For awhile Accumulator balls were fetching upwards of $300 for NOS...but now that Kirban's is selling them for $180 the prices have come down.

It's a pretty easy swap. The four bolts under the dash were the hardest and they weren't very hard just time consuming to take off. All the rest is easily accessible especially since I was changing my PS pump and A/C compressor anyways. With the giant hole in that area it was just a matter of reconnecting the PS lines a different way.

Do you have to change the pedal assembly too? That part really sucked.

Nope, I just pulled the hair pin and washer off and after the powermaster was out I had my brother angle it towards the passenger side of the car and slid the pedal off and it swapped right over.
