For six months I've spent more time in TX than anywhere else. That includes NM where I "live". I no longer am given pause when someone says "...in the Blue Hell...", I've learned to forget that the chimichangas at Town & Country are better suited for baiting bear traps with than for actual human consumption. I've stopped wondering how anyone could live in a Denver City or a Seminole with the constant "Satan's Fart" smell of crude oil. I'm actually posting from Midland right now. Yesterday I was called "Sweet Pea" by the lady at the Freightliner shop approximately 700 times in one hour and it didn't even phase me.

I spent the weekend at a Best Western in Odessa and on the front door is a small plaque announcing "Smoking Permitted In All Areas" and it was then that I realized that it was time to request that you make me an Honorary Texan.
