86 is back on the road.
« on: September 26 2009, 12:53:50 PM »
I've have not had a good year..86 trans almost fell out of the car. It's been down since May I think. Well I stole the trans and stock TC out of the 83, it's a used BRF that I bought 7 years ago..120 plus miles and 200 or so passes at the track... Darn things shifts good. barked the tires hitting second. But I forgot that the TCC plugin was different from the 83 to 86, so no TCC. This should give me enough time to get things sorted out....

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

The parts inside a transmission are expensive and only to be handled by a professional, or so I was told by a certain tranny guy.

Was this tranny pre-op or post-op?
