General Buick Tech / Re: GBODY PARTS....« on: March 27 2014, 02:33:11 PM »
I don't want to sound like a dick and go against everyone. But I never read into any of the vendors and Gbodyparts has treated me very well and I never pay any duty charges. I've spent well over 1500 with them and all the parts and service has been above average. I did see that thread about the burnt down GN and that sucks some serious ass....

General Buick Tech / Ball Joint Help« on: February 14 2014, 04:42:52 PM »
So my question is.
How do I press in the upper control arm ball joints? Do I just hammer the sleeve in and then slide the ball joint in and tighten it? I assume that if I hit the sleeve in through the hole it will bend the metal? Or am I going about this all wrong and the sleeve is on the bottom and you just slide the ball joint through the hole and button it up? Sorry If I'm using the wrong terms. 12
For Sale/Trade/Want To Buy / Re: Looking for a Good used or new Belt Tensioner« on: January 19 2014, 04:14:27 PM »
I find that the aluminum cracks at the mounting bolt holes due to torque straps and then vibrates once broken. The fix to this is do not use a strap and if you are making real power invest in poly mounts or get the RJC brace. I'm guessing the spring can give out but I'm positive you can fix that by buying a 1 inch shorter belt to stop it from clacking. In my Case my mounting bolthole is busted off.
