The mention of putting a clean rag(s) in the intake is a GREAT idea. I wish I woulda read that prior to me installing my PP.

I dropped one of the bolts into the plenum and of course it didn't drop straight down & stay there, oh no it bounced & went into an intake port :bigeyes;

Ever seen a Buick owner who doesn't think his combination of options is rare?

Well in Spoolin's defense, as I'm sure you guys already know, late build '87s were "supposedly" cranked out as fast as possible, hard tops, & with what parts were available.

So, in theory, for a late '87 build to have T-tops and a digital dash that was still laying around the parts bin, is unique.

BTW, I'm a stereotypical Buick owner with a rare combo. I have a 1 of 1,595 '87 Canadian export. It has a factory 140 speedo, in KM that is.

I'd just like to say that the little bit I have used this site since joining has been a pleasant experience. Like someone said in a previous post, I like a site that doesn't make me want to hate my car. I have a membership on TB, but I try not to post too much. I like the smaller sites, too. I've already had some good tech help here, and I enjoy the humorous atmosphere.

Spoolin' here told me about this site. I'm also a TB & TBS member. Known as "theCATman" on both of those. I do like TB for a wealth of knowledge there, but because of certain situations on there that I know about on a personal level, I refrain from getting involved with the "clique" in any personal way. I stick to tech & lounge BSing on there.

TBS never really did trip my trigger as much. Nothing against you Canook bastards, I'm checking this place out, right? :confused;

Anyone have a 38 super? A very interesting cartridge, IMO, and often overlooked. I'd like to have one of the 1911 variants chambered in it.

The Pre WWII Colt 1911 I mentioned in my 1st post.... it's a .38 Super, not a .45   Can you say extremely rare?
