I’d send you a care package to take care of those aches and pains but I see Texas didn’t legalize recreational yet.  Don’t need the feds showing up at your house or mine.

Selling parts off the parts truck is officially profitable! I've made my money back +$225 not counting all the parts I've used and stocked away!

The black sheep gates are nice.
I’ve heard the vs racing piston style is nice as well and is more in my budget

I’m waiting for Black Friday - I’ll pick up a piston style gate vs the diaphragm style

It's a VS racing gen 1 44mm gate - I guess they got it fixed on the newer ones

Playing with Holley boost control - looks neat but this wastegate is trash.
Leaks from the dome chamber into the bottom chamber. It’s so bad even 100% duty cycle doesn’t do anything.
I stuck the 3rd spring in it - that’s the only way it’ll get more boost at this point

Took the car on a 10 mile cruise today and it's still dry underneath - still don't trust this thing!

I think this one is finally done - well for the most part...
I swapped the hood, fenders, door, entire interior, hvac blend door actuators, installed some scumbag plastic rocker covers and installed my last hooker aerochamber muffler on it.
The leather seats were a huge upgrade in comfort, the heaters working is a bonus!
It's looks great from 10ft - but it's a 20+ year old truck with some blemishes.

With as hacked as this car was - I’d guess it had a fuel cell in it or an intercooler ice tank

Picked it up today, tweaked the torque converter lookup settings, installed a new windshield washer pump/tank, and installed a front air dam / spolier.
The air damn dropped the coolant temps 10F and the trans temps 40F!
Should be good to go for when my uncle can drive it again. He had a knee replacement done 12 weeks ago and they just had to remove it and install a temp sleeve due to infection. He’s got to wait for the infection to be clear two weeks and then they can try to install another knee.

As I figured the Lokar flexible dipstick was hitting the side of the pan wall and causing it to read incorrectly.
Fingers crossed the correct dipstick and tube takes care of my issues....

Sorry - I just knew they sold an “efi” tank for a gbody, doesn’t surprise me that they sell the same tank as everyone else.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a Buick tank, but I can tell you my fbody tank does not have baffling in it from the factory. The stock setup use a fuel bucket/venturi system. I have omitted the factory setup and have 2 450s in the same space. They set in a “sump” if you could even call it that, each pump staggered off the bottom 1/2”-3/4” respectively
I guess what I’m trying to say is my car goes mid 1.3 60ft - I try not to run it hard below half tank. But on the occasion I have, I’ve seen zero pressure drop at the rail when I’m doing stupid stuff on the street.

Dropped it off today. Feels good to have my shop back.
Feels like a car the traps 115mph or so in the heat. Runs good now that it's sorted out.
