Years ago I was on an FF1600 racing team. The engine was the Ford cortina 4 cylinder and we had very tight specs that the engine was built to. No after market heads but there was 1 spec intake we could use. We bought 20 intakes and flowed all of them so we could find the one with the best flow. The headers were the same way. The carb was the Holley Weber progressive 2 barrel and it had no restrictions except that the venturies couldn't be modified, of course, everything else was.

Don't watch nascar anymore and don't plan on it. When it was created, it was about using a modified stock vehicle with the same engine you had in the stock vehicle, to race. That was really cool and it made you feel like these guys were driving the same thing that you were. It's morphed into multi-million dollar teams and machines that no one can afford and nothing on them is even close to stock. I still remember watching Richard Petty drive the old charger he had when I was a kid. I also remember the Skoll Bandit and Harry Gant. The races may be exciting but it's not the same as it was in the beginning and it doesn't represent American vehicle manufacturers any more.

My neighbor is 25, cute, and has two kids by an idiot. He's very controlling and has abused her verbally and emotionally, as well as the kids. I've helped her with clothes, food, and just trying to be her friend. Now here's the fun part. She's very protective of the kids, which I understand, and he's trying to screw every thing with a pussy. Even gave her an STD. He told her I'm a pedofile and she shouldn't let her or the kids out of the house. She believes everything he says. He's accused us of screwing, which wasn't true, as well as a few other things. This is a bad deal all around, but I care about her and the kids. he's already threatened me with physical harm if I do anything as far as contacting her or the kids. What I'll be doing tomorrow is filing a report with the sheriff tomorrow about him threatening me and may take out an order of protection against this idiot. I keep a 45 beside me at all times whether I'm in my truck or just walking around. If I file the report he'll come unhinged and will expect him to show up trying to kill or injure me. CPS may get involved. All I want is to keep her and the kids safe so wish me luck guys. There is no winner here, just survivors.

"Today I had to go to Lowe's.
As I approached the entrance, I noticed a female driver looking for a parking space.
I flagged the driver and pointed out a handicap parking space that was open and available.
The driver looked puzzled, rolled down her window and said, "I'm not handicapped!"
Well, as you can imagine, my face was red!
"Oh, I'm sorry," I said. "I saw your 'I'm Ready for Hillary' bumper sticker and just assumed that you suffer from a mental disorder."
She gave me the finger and screamed some nasty names at me. Boy! Some people don't appreciate it when you're just trying to help them."

Timing chain? How hard could it be? I've been deep in a 2004r. Cooling system is what I've read about being a problem. It's a serious PITA Rich. Did one a while ago and flat rate time is nothing compared to the actual time.

Do you want to bring it down Rich? It would have to be on a week day though.

Amen to that! Seems like everyone wants instant results and they don't worry about understanding what they are doing..they just want to be told what to program in. Same thing with chassis issues Steve.

Go full stiff at the track.
I know what I said. I think the viagra up there in the colder climates has more power than Steve's does Larry. Shorter links to the bar will cut overall body movement and sway. Hope that helps.

Pics not big enough Dave. For all we know it could be a door, fender, or trunk lid.
